Good price, a few issues

Overall, RevainBasics is good value for money. You get a bright (7W) MR16 that delivers accurate colour, at least in the daylight version. Dimming was good, not great. But there were a few things I wanted to point out: 1) If you have transparent lights, they don't shine through the body/sides of the light. The light only comes out of the end of the closed LED cover. It depends on your light fixture, but in my lights the light fixture is recessed so that only about 1/4 inch of the end of the…

Cheapest dimmable lightbulbs with GU10 base!

Let's get some things straight: 1) They are dimmable. I have no problem dimming the light. 2) They don't get as hot as incandescent bulbs, which helps keep your home cool. I installed them in my track lighting system in the kitchen. The lights have rose colored glass shades that are usually beautifully illuminated by a translucent reflector in a GU 5.3 halogen lamp. Firstly, these LED lamps do not have a translucent reflector, so the lampshade is dark and not luminous. This is to be expected from the photo of the bulb. Second, these bulbs are slightly longer than halogen bulbs, so they protrude slightly from the shades. Therefore they don't look as elegant as the
