Get it at Walmart instead!

honestly not worth it. Go to Walmart, they have a larger one (same setup and type) for $24.99. So spend another $5 and start cooking more right away. That's just enough for two steaks.

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • legacy model

Awesome Grill, XL - Camping & Hiking

We love our campfire grill! It is very durable and lifts food high enough over the fire to cook it without burning it. Received size XL when ordering a medium size, but ended up liking the larger size!

Pros
  • Very Fast Delivery
Cons
  • Crumpled Packaging

It's not a GRILL

GRILL IS DESIGNED TO GRILL which means food is placed on it. This so-called grill - which it is not - prohibits the placing of food. Way to defeat the GRILL when it can't be used on the GRILL. This is not a grill. This is a stand. It says so in the product description to be honest, but I saw the name, used it asap and overlooked that the GRILL IS NOT A GRILL.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Unsafe

Very good quality suitable for cooker accessories

This product is amazing, I went camping last weekend and cooked everything I need on it over the fire from hamburgers to bacon, slices, sausages , Steak . It holds the heat really well. The only thing I will do is repaint the whole car with engine paint to withstand the heat of the fires, but other than that it's very educational and doesn't weigh much.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Use very soon

Good size for our cast iron skillets and 2 gallon hot tub. However, the third time we used it, it showed some signs of wear. The paint was peeling off pretty quickly and looks like we've had it for 5 years now. Made him a Kaowool bag with Cordura so it doesn't get dirty. Does the job, but you need a good storage option rather than having it bouncing around in the trunk of your SUV.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • unreliable

How could I ever live without it?

This grill is the best! I have the large size and I'm glad I did. It fits in place of the standard fire ring, allowing me to fit a small cast iron skillet and kettle with free space. You can't cook right on this grill, but I don't mind. The construction is very solid and reliable. The large grill is quite heavy so not suitable for hiking but great for car camping. One of my favorite camping purchases.

Pros
  • High test results for hold and durability
Cons
  • Long delivery time

I love this for campfire cooking!

Just used this grill for a cold weather camping trip in western Massachusetts. I let the fire mostly burn down to embers and then place the grill over the embers. I boiled water in a soup can for 5-6 minutes. Worked great. The manufacturer says you can't cook directly on it so I wouldn't recommend it, but as a dish platform it works very well. It's durable and quite heavy, so I wouldn't recommend it for anything other than car camping, but car camping is all I do.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Reliability

Get the most out of this little grill.

I also have a larger version of this grill and it has served me well for many years. I bought this small one to hold hot water for coffee or to warm up a side dish. It's so convenient! Please note these grills are best used next to a fire or over coals, not over a flame. Although they can withstand high temperatures, they age much faster, causing them to warp and rust. No condition makes them unusable. Cooking over the fire is a lot of fun, and food comes out a lot better when it's cookedโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Almost OK
