Nothing perfect but these belts are pretty close. Bought and used for a 2 week motorcycle trip. Daypack, basic backpack - 50+ pounds tied to a sissybar - nothing moved. I don't know what else to say, they just work.

Used to attach a dry bag to the back of the bike for a ride. The straps worked great. The bag did not move even after several hundred kilometers. I've only used them for one ride so can't comment on durability but so far they're great.

These straps appear to be just as well made as the famous name brand straps that are so popular. I used two of these to tie a heavy tool bag to the bike rack and after tightening them the weight was very firmly in place. Much better than all bungee cords with metal ends that can scratch the paintwork.

Please note I have a luggage rack with a bag, straps keep the bag on the rack. They're durable and adjustable, with handy tie loops for easy tying. You'll need two or four of these on each bike if your significant other wants a decent bag on a hike. I like this.
