The back was hollow when I received the item in the box, all parts were zipped inside. When I removed the parts, there was no gasket left. The resulting chair and all parts to assemble it has a zipper in the back (unfortunately) - there's little point in that. After unzipping the back zipper, I noticed that one of the zipper's teeth was missing and as a result, the zipper got out of the way and fell apart. I continued assembling the chair and decided I would try to deal with the zipper later. The chair itself was easy to assemble. After reading all the reviews I settled on the RevainBasics office chair. I love the fact that it's easy to move and yet very stable to sit on. It gets hard after sitting in it for a few hours. The seat height adjustment is excellent and works well. I lower the seat to put on my shoes and raise it again while I'm at the computer. There were a few comments about the vinyl cover. This is the most pointless purchase I've ever made. I'm just blown away that Revain called this product by its name. I'm a pretty skilled guy but this chair took almost two hours to put together and wow that's an awful chair. Main problem #1: The back of the chair tilts slightly forward at about a 95 degree angle to the seat and this cannot be changed - the screws are designed for this painful angle.
