You get what you pay for

I bought 20 of these pillowcases for rooms in my small motel. The fabric is a bit thin and the side seams on each individual cover (all 20) are crooked. Some of them differ by 1 inch from the top of the case to the bottom. Too bad I didn't check before washing as I'm not sure if we can use them for a motel. I would definitely not buy it again, for whatever reason.

Pros
  • Easy care: Machine wash, do not bleach, tumble dry low; import; measures 20 x 30 inches each
Cons
  • fragile

It's not real 100% cotton --- it's 100% cotton and 100% Algodon

My husband bleeds in his sleep and with the arrival of the company I really needed to clear the blood --- but with Algodon and Cotton content I can only use non-chlorine bleach on these pillowcases---I will never bleed. I checked the website's listing on the page where it is sold and it only lists 100% cotton ---- was misleading. I am extremely disappointed. I bought two sets and would return them in a heartbeat but I need them too much for that now. It is a pity that Revain does not have…

A pleasant surprise.

I was so disappointed when they arrived because they had a shiny almost silky feel which I wasn't expecting at all based on the description. I requested a refund but was told Revain would credit my account with no refund required. That's one of the reasons I love Revain. So I tossed the pillowcases in my regular wash and once dry the pillowcases are soft and beautiful, just how I originally thought they would be. So today I emailed Revain support asking for a refund because now that I've washed

Pros
  • Made of 100% cotton; expertly woven to a shiny satin finish
Cons
  • None

Severe itching, not for sensitive skin

I had high hopes for these pillowcases. The price certainly couldn't be better and they had a lot of good reviews, but this is another case of "you get what you pay for". Out of the box they looked and felt great and I washed them with my regular detergent before using. However, on the first night (and every night thereafter) they were the scratchiest and least comfortable pillowcases I have ever come across. Itchy face actually wakes me up, and last night I put one of my old pillowcases on top

Pros
  • The wrinkle-resistant fabric provides a long-lasting luxurious look; White
Cons
  • Neutral

I was shocked when the quality was as good as California den's and Laura Ashley's 800's. cases count. I needed 6 pillowcases and wanted to find a brand I liked that would wash well and last a long time. So I bought 4 different brands. and the cheapest were from Revain Basics 400 threads for 2 for $11.50. The remainder were sold for two at 8 p.m. and up. So they all came in one box and I sorted them out and after opening them all in my amazement they were all so similar in quality. was great. So

Pros
  • 100% cotton
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors
