I have frequent power outages and have lost my fridge and freezer. I have this to protect myself from it. I've had a few breakdowns and no problems so far. I hope

I can't figure out how they work when needed during a surge, but they seem well made and easy enough to use. I like the form factor. The price seems reasonable.

With so many power outages in our area, it's wise to invest some money in protecting sensitive electrical equipment. We keep one in most electrical outlets around the house to protect electrical equipment.

It was not designed to be used with the plastic pin right in the middle of the connector. Plastic bolts, then it's a bad design

sockets on the back reversed. This isn't a problem with standard plugs, but it does mean that if a wall wart power supply is plugged into one side and not the other, it won't plug in at all. If both sides had a side up, the thing could be joined on at least one side (front or back).

They fail quickly - a surge renders them useless. I bought six packs and 4 broke within a month. Unfortunately, I threw away the box with the serial number. I connected these power supplies up to 1600w and lost the cable. Unfortunately, they don't have a reset switch or last longer. I would look for a different network filter. $60 down the drain for me

Seems to fit nicely into a 'regular' socket but two prongs (a ground and a plastic prong) don't fit perfectly into a GFCI socket - the pins are there friend too close together. The result is a device that tries to slip out of the socket no matter how hard you try to hold it. In a vertical arrangement without heavy plugs with sockets, cutting the plastic pin will probably work.
