Pretty solid chair. I'm 6,240 and feel secure in this chair. The lift arms are the main reason I bought this chair; some space savings when not busy. The back of the chair has lumbar support which feels really good when sitting and sitting with your back to the chair. I would buy this chair again if I ever needed a replacement because I already knew that he heavy is stool

It is made from bonded leather, which Wikipedia defines as follows: Bonded leather, also known as composition leather or mixed leather, is the term used for manufactured upholstery that incorporates animal skins. It is a multi-layered structure based on fiber or paper. coated with a layer of shredded leather fibers mixed with a polyurethane binder, embossed to resemble leather.

value but personally love it. Very comfortable, easy to assemble, has excellent lumbar support. I use it for work where I sit at my desk for more than 8 hours a day. Will update in the future to say how it is holding up. The only thing I would have wished for differently is that I would like it to be lower. It fits perfectly under my desk and the armrests are great, love the lower chairs to sit on. But that's not so important because I'm sure I'll get used to it quickly.

The "ergonomic" part of this chair makes it impossible to sit in this chair. assume a roller coaster position. I slide forward on "glued skin" which keeps my hips in the wrong place and my back no longer supported by the "ergonomic" part of this chair (aka the lower back padding) when the school administrator doesn't threw away the box it came in - I would disassemble and return this gigantic waste of money! Don't waste your time or money. Buy something else!
