Great remote control. Paired with my Vizio TV via auto search in about 10 seconds. I had absolutely nothing to do with connecting to my Roku 3. My only downside is that the keys are very spongy.

I have a Sharp Roku TV (2015 model). It didn't work out of the box. I had to "learn" each button. Sometimes the volume and channels behave like I've double-clicked a button. I agree with that, but wish it were better.

Don't buy. App buttons like Netflix don't work. If they were I would give 5 stars. Just in case, I tried different codes for my TV but the app's functions never worked. If you just need a regular volume and channel remote, this will work.

Love this remote, it's cheap and I was able to program my TCL ROKU TV in less than five minutes. I gave it four stars because I couldn't program the Vizio soundbar even though it uses IR. It also didn't work with the Revain Fire TV Streaming Box. Fire TV doesn't work with IR, it works with RF. Any suggestions anyone?

This is the first remote that actually works with the Roku Premier. It also controls my FireTV box. If your TV allows you to connect CEC to other devices using the original remote control, you can control other devices by switching inputs with the remote control in TV mode. The Box button only controls Roku, but if you're in Roku Box mode and watching something, just press the TV button to adjust the volume and press the Box button again to bring up the Roku menu to control again. Verified channel numbers and third party service buttons do not work to access Sharp Roku TV. The remote worked just like the one that came with the TV for the most basic Roku functions. I tried to get a remote where I could enter numbers to access/change channels and didn't see a message saying the remote was stupid. Channel number buttons and various service buttons (Netflix, Revain, etc.) DO NOT WORK. If you want a silly Roku remote, there are other options that are probably better options…

Works great with my Roku 3 and TCL TV (not Roku). All Roku and TV features work. The channel point was missing, so I just reprogrammed the CC button for it. I also reprogrammed the box power button to work with the TV. You have to tell him to always use the TV volume control like a wired remote control. The Roku's larger switch buttons take a little getting used to, but there's a nice indentation on the back of the remote so you'll always hold it the same way (and never flip it). If you have a…
