Made in Guatemala - new items and more

I didn't choose this shirt because it was an old American Apparel tri-blend track shirt is described, which I love. The product description says it's made in the USA, but it's made in Guatemala. We'll see how it washes off, but I doubt it'll be anywhere near the original version (far left of the image) and probably closer to the lower quality version in the middle. Disappointed with inaccurate description.

Pros
  • 50% cotton, 25% polyester, 25% viscose
Cons
  • Almost never

Not as good as the old ones

Not bad but now it's a Gildan brand, not the quality and fit of the old American clothes. If you want old, try Los Angeles clothes. These are the old owners of the new company

Pros
  • Made in USA
Cons
  • Good but not great

Too long and poorly made

Something has changed in American Apparel clothing and sizing over the past few years. I used to only wear these shirts, but now they're incredibly long, with broad shoulders that allow the sleeves to hang over my arms. There are always threads sticking out that need to be cut. This will be the last thing I buy.

Pros
  • No closure
Cons
  • Color not required
