Good material, better than other brands of industrial crayons I've tried. Good bold dark lines. But the packaging was beaten to hell. Like the ones they found in Dixon's dumpster at the factory.

We used them to paint boxes when we built forts for our grandchildren. The pencil draws so smoothly and shows up great. Another typical black chalk could never do this, I did a comparison test! I don't use it on wood or any other surface but I'm sure it will work great.

I bought these to use for reaming brass. They work much better than regular wooden crayons you can buy at the hardware store. The wax should get harder so it doesn't smear. The locking works well. The price is great. They are similar to the thick crayons used by children, but longer. No matter what you use them for, they last a long time. You get great mileage from them. When they run out I will buy them again.

Be smarter than me! I was only looking for a box of black crayons because those are the ones my kids interact with the most. It's not for coloring, lol. You're probably smart enough to know this, but I'll warn you just in case. However, I kept them and found them to work great on wood and cardboard.
