This trimmer is a game-changer for my paper projects with its easy-to-use features and smooth cuts. I took one of these as a replacement for my CARL, I also wanted a smaller version. Bad choose! So it's hard to tell where the cut line is uncomfortable for the user in that regard. Cuts well but cartridges make it so inaccurate! There is a small line on the blade of the presser foot, but it's clear and you can't easily line up the entire sheet. The best choice is CARL, whose cutting edge is aligned with the cutting bar and thus always makes a perfect cut!

I find this trimmer very accurate and I like that it has cartridges. I had a Fiskars rotary trimmer (which I loved) but one day I cut my hand really badly because the blade compartment in the pocket opened up and I cut myself reaching for it! Cartridges do not allow this. The only point of criticism is the labeling of the ruler. It's hard to tell where to cut as all lines are the same length for all measurements except inches.
