Mine came with a sticker saying it was filled and sold by someone associated with the team. The product inside was not what I usually see, the color was different and the smell too. It retreats into itself and becomes lighter and fluffier as the day progresses.

My husband has been using this lipstick for many years and loves it the best he has ever tried. It doesn't have a strong smell and makes his hair very shiny and also controls unruly strands. I cut his hair these days, so I'm always happy to hear what products he's interested in. We buy almost everything here, so why not hair care products? It's fast and convenient. We are happy! As far as I can tell, this product hasn't changed for the worse. In fact, it seems to be better with a lighter gloss.

Bought here before and had no problems with my first glass. Ran out and bought another but was very disappointed with what I got. I knew immediately something was wrong when I saw it was a waxy yellow color. Tried it out to see if it's a new look as it's been a year or two since I bought my last one. NO. The retention was terrible. The scent doesn't smell like my last bath at all. I won't buy here anymore!

I don't know if this single jar was fake or what happened here, but it wasn't the American Crew product I always vouched for. In two hours it was when there was nothing in my hair. And that was after making sure I was apparently using a quarter container after learning from the first incident.

Of all the products I've tried, this leaves the best shine and holds my hair well even on those windy Chicago winter days. I've used Brylcreem, Vitalis, Groom and Clean, Layrite, Clubman and maybe a few others I can't remember the names of, but if you need a good hold and want Don Draper to shine, then this lipstick is spot on the right thing for you .

This product has changed! It is now whitish in color and you will need to use 2-3 times more to get the same hold. The last time I got good material (it's stickier and has a bluish green tint) was 2018 and these 3 packs lasted me through 2020. I've since bought 1 here and 1 in store and it's not the same quality to keep and even the AC flavors seem to have been reduced. Maybe CVS still sells the real stuff, but they're $20 versus 3 packs for $30. I think you get what you pay for

I love American Crew. I am a woman who wears very very short hair and I love how it makes my hair super shiny while staying in place and the smell too. I've used it sporadically for years and although I've tried others I keep coming back. Tried and tested. It is also very easy to rinse out of the hair. Love it!
