As a result of using this product, I found that the surface was not smooth enough to work on. On the bright side, the pegs to hold the palette in place were sturdy and reliable.Unfortunately the negativity outweighed the positivity. It made creating art frustrating and a chore. Overall, I would not recommend this easel for any artist, experienced or otherwise..

Based on my experience, the American Easel Gloss Birch Palette was far from satisfactory. it was unstable and had a wobbly base which made it challenging to work with. It didn't serve its purpose and hindered my Arts and Crafts work.The only good thing was its gloss finish. But it`s not worth the price..

My husband loves to draw as a hobby and free time. He can mess up the small palette he already has. This large platform is the perfect size, suitable for both left- and right-handed users. He's ambidextrous, so he can toss it from one hand to the other without causing much havoc in the long run.
