great item for the price bought this for my daughter to put peppers on pizza lol she loves it now as she no longer has to use the bag the peppers came in .

My husband used to add red pepper flakes to almost everything. I thought this would be a good alternative to picking granola out of a bowl. The holes aren't really big enough to work satisfactorily with red pepper flakes. Probably good for dried parmesan.

I was surprised I couldn't find any of these in local stores. I liked the price so I ordered it. What can I say - it's a shaker. It's shaking. Restaurants typically use these cheese shakers when they need a visual touch. Large holes go well with my powdered sugar. I would have preferred it with a handle but I forgot when ordering. It's a shame but I'm happy with my purchase. The glass is heavy, I hope it lasts a long time.
