I was so happy to give this to my c/o but this mug broke in the first few uses. I'm very upset, I thought the glass was tempered. This is a dangerous hazard, and American science can only rejoice! Shame on you! Give me my money back! You robbed so many people.

What kind of sick person makes mugs that shatter within 3 months of use, all because of innocent falling ice cubes? All I did was throw ice cubes in the cup and it broke making it unusable. Are you saying you can't even put ice cubes in here? So it's just an exhibition? It's a shame because I really liked it. That was my favorite cup. But I'm glad it happened in the kitchen because this mug is a disaster waiting to happen.

This is a fairly sturdy glass mug. Glass looks thin at first glance, but it is very durable. The mug easily copes with pouring boiling water. The grip is the same, rather weak at first glance. But for everyday use it's good enough. Out of curiosity, I checked the gauge marks. They're slightly different, but I don't think a sane person would expect them to be accurate. This is a good and strong mug. I recommend it.

It was fun for 2 weeks while it was whole. It's brand new, a good size and would be perfect for a gift to someone of interest. However, this glass is very thin. Thinner than I expected from almost all glassware I've purchased. You'll find a common feature in many glasses you buy - they have a thick base and thin sides. Take these reminders as standard. In comparison, it has thinner sides and the bottom is the same thickness as the sides. My butt burst after 2 weeks. I have not dropped or abused

You get what you pay for. I bought this to replace another similar mug I bought from Amazon which was more expensive. What I received was different from the photo you see on this website. UPDATE: SAFETY HAZARD When I first used it, I put in room temperature liquid and 3 ice cubes. He thermally collapsed 1 minute after drinking. I almost swallowed a piece. THIS IS NOT SAFE TO USE. First thing I have to say is that I'm pretty sure I should have expected exactly what I got here. This mug was a replacement for one that got lost in a move, so it was definitely worth a try. The glass in the cup is very thin. Therefore, the outside of the mug is always very close to the temperature of the beverage it contains, and probably too hot to hold.
