I usually scoff at people when they say these things take a long time to assemble, but this one took me just over 2 hours. I'm not a master carpenter, but I can read fairly well and follow instructions well. This is time consuming. The biggest piece of crappa I have ever bought. We spent at least 6 hours trying to get the boxes to work! I ended up disassembling it and throwing it away. They don't really sell another item like this - a table/dresser/TV stand/bookshelf all in one. My son is a first grader doing distance learning and has a small bedroom so this was perfect. Bought for my son's room so he can install gaming systems on a dresser but still be able to work at his desk if he needs/want to. This is normal, although the dimensions could be slightly larger.
