🛁 Amerock Arrondi Stainless Steel Robe Hook - Bath Hardware for Bathroom, Towel Hook and Accessories Review

Although labeled as 'coat hooks' I purchased two of these hooks for use in the kitchen. One fits next to my sink for a towel and the other goes between the stove and microwave to hang my oven mitts. The vertical portion is taller than most kitchen hooks, so a short leather strap had to be added to each potholder to loop around the hook. Both apps work exactly as I had hoped.

Hook looks good and feels solid. The small hex screw that attaches the hook to the bracket seems to have snapped off, so I can't tighten it as tight as I'd like. I've never overtightened it, and I couldn't tighten it with the included (tiny) hex wrench. However, sending it back is hardly worth it, especially since I would then have to close two holes that I drilled in my wall.

We use these hooks in the kitchen to hang up handbags, coats and children's lunch boxes (insulated nylon). They are very durable and go perfectly with our stainless steel appliances. Installation is fairly easy, although you will need to ensure the hook is properly positioned on the wall plate. Also, the screw that attaches the hook to the plate is turned with the included hex wrench, but the hole is so small that it's a bit difficult to use. In the end, it just takes a little patience.

Use these hooks as towel hooks next to the shower and bath. We have chrome bath/faucet fixtures but the lighting and fixtures are champagne gold which keeps the mixed metals going. Our cabinet hardware is the same brand/color so they match and it's close enough to our soft gold table lamp. The hooks go well with our Turkish towels and look great on the wall. I used shift studs instead of the supplied studs. The tiny Allen key is difficult to use, but it takes time.

A few years ago I bought 2 Arrondi towel rails and a coat hook and when I was repainting the bathroom my wife asked for a second coat hook hence this review.
