🔵 AMES Blue Max Regular Liquid Rubber Waterproofer - 1 Gallon BMX1RG Review

Fairly easy to apply and covers well. Used it to seal the liner on a hydroponic lettuce bath. The product does not harden and remains sticky, which I did not expect. I've used a rubber product spray to give it a harder, dry finish and I'm sure the tub will remain airtight and not leak. It appears to be much more water resistant than the Red Guard and doesn't absorb moisture when wet. It also stuck to the rubber floor like a contact cement and I doubt it will ever come off.

After much research I really hope this material will work well at 8X stretch and 100 PSI. It's getting thick and I'm hanging it on the wall of the underground cellar. Partly indoors, but mostly indoors. I applied 7 coats in 2 days. Dries quickly, stays tacky for about 4-6 hours. Once I placed my hand on a sticky surface, I pulled my hand back about 2-3 inches with the blue membrane still on my hand. And that created a small hole in the blue membrane. When I opened the tin, the contents were dark blue and as thick as jelly. No matter how tired I was, it didn't mix and turned into a liquid. This made it almost impossible to apply to the walls as it just wouldn't spread. It just fell to the ground. I did extensive research to find the best product for sealing an interior log wall. Blue Max is great. Easy to apply with a small roller, the coverage is very good. I applied two good coats. I had to open the window for a few days to keep the smell out. I painted it over with regular good wall paint and any remaining odor was completely gone.
