They look and feel very cheap. The frames were very wobbly and the wires of the filter they held were sticking out. Due to the lack of a mold they were a bit more difficult to install and they don't seem to fit properly. They were cheap but fooled me once.

I like this product because it is new and clean. However, I ordered 2 without realizing there were 2 in the box and sent back an extra box of 2. Also, and my biggest complaint, was that the width of the product was ¼ inch smaller on both filters, so there is now a gap right down the middle as shown in the photo.

We ordered two of these filters to replace existing filters of the same size. However, they are a little smaller than stated. More importantly, the old ones had two small holes in the aluminum frame on one edge that small pins on the hood were inserted into to hold the filter in place. I did a mini overhaul on my Allure hood - engine swap and decided to swap out the aluminum screens while I was there. The box that these filters came in was not suitable. There was a dent on one long edge. The box wasn't heavy cardboard and there was only one layer of cardboard. Two filters were bent in the same place as the dent in the box. The bends of the filters are visible during installation. Installation was too easy.
