This umbrella is sturdy with vibrant colors . The material is thick with a very dependable layer underneath to block the sun’s harmful rays . The mechanism to push it up and close is easy to use .

Well constructed and with a good carry-bag. Good sun block, and we like the tilt feature.Just lost 1 star because it does not allow sliding of the umbrella half up/down the base to adjust height.

We bought four of these for the beach and they are awesome. There was one day that winds were very, very strong and 2 of the umbrellas "took off”. However, everyone’s umbrellas on the beach that day were pretty much blowing out of the sand!

Umbrella worked as expected. Great umbrella. Would recommend taking a battery powered drill with a long bit to driill hole in sand. Buy an umbrella stand for the beach And your umbrella won’t go anywhere. Great buy.

Easy to assemble and put in the sand only thing to be aware of if you have high winds on the beach someone wil need to hold the pole no matter what. Worked great 2 days no wind 3rd day over 30 mph winds so we loved it and the accessories just mother nature will always be challenging!

The plastic holder that is suggested as an additional purchase, you turn it into the sand, is not the best- maybe a rubber mallet would work better but the umbrella has held up to the strong ocean breezes

The umbrella is fine. The quality is fairly standard. I prefer the screw-in base. This one is just a pointed end, so a mallet might be useful to carry with you. I'm only using it in one place, so not a big deal. What most disappointed me was that they did not send me the color I actually ordered. If that matters to you, maybe try contact the seller to ensure you get what you want.

I bought this umbrella to not only use at the beach or on other outdoor trips, but also to use in my vegetable garden. I live in the Arizona desert, so shade is a priority when I am doing garden tasks. I stick this in a corner of whatever raised bed I am working in and have instant shade! We purchased this with a screw style bottom. The umbrella slipped into it and was screwed into the sand. Umbrella is made of sturdy material, is a good size and has vents on top to help from turning inside out. Used it on a beach where others’ umbrellas were flipping inside out. Exactly what i was looking for! My daughter has a sun allergy & can't be In the sun long. We used this umbrella the other day at the River and it was great. It's easy to set up and provides a great amount of shade. Totally worth the amount we paid for it. Will be buying another one very soon.

Did not stand up to heavy wind. First use resulted in tearing of tie to one of the spokes and a break in the spoke where it is supposed to keep fabric taut when open. Result is that this part of the umbrella cannot protect against the AZ sun as desired.

This product (with a sand anchor) held up to steady strong winds. We are thrilled after having several umbrellas that were unusable on windy days or were destroyed by wind. Great value. Also light and portable for walk to beach. I'm going to get a second one! If you don't have a sand anchor, I strongly recommend the Ammsun umbrella that includes anchor.

We had just terrible heat this summer and I had to be outside. I have trouble with that kind of extreme heat so this umbrella was incredibly helpful to me. I does need an auger, no matter the ground, sand or grass. I tried it in the grass and it went in with much difficulty.
