Exactly what was needed!

Worked so well someone took it for their own! Held up great in pretty blustery coastal wind! Umbrella didn’t escape! That's my review.

I've used this at the beach for the last three years and decided to buy another this year for a second umbrella. I haven't had any issues with this item. I'm hoping to get several more uses out of it!

It had a screw missing.

I have not used this item yet but need to use it before I could get a replacement. I ordered one earlier and for some reason was "undeliverable ".It looks sturdy but is missing the screw that tightens the umbrella pole.I’m hoping it stays because the pole of the umbrella I am planning to use fits pretty snug.

Does not hold umbrella

This is junk. I used it once and my umbrella kept falling over.so I ordered a stake you hammer in the ground and I have had no problems with this.Don't waste your money.

Handy Umbrella Accessory For The Beach

This anchor easily screws into the sand, providing a secure base for your umbrella. It's made of plastic, so we're careful torquing it so it doesn't break. It holds the umbrella securely in moderate wind, so very happy with it. Recommended.

This is the best umbrella screw available

I cut the original screw off of my umbrella and used this. It works great. Zero problems in the beach wind. That's my feedback!

Not strong enough for me

I don't know why this isn't as good as the Abba 7' umbrella with sand anchor, but it isn't. Even though I put it pretty far down into the sand, the wind still managed to pull it so the umbrella was tilting, and likely would've come out completely. When I screwed in the Abba umbrella (although I'm likely returning it b/c it doesn't provide enough shade), I couldn't pull it out, and literally had to unscrew it out of the sand. Great product: my feedback

Went to Florida on vacation wind was very strong but this thing held up GREAT was not disappointed! Love it! The hook may not be able to hold heavier items, restricting its usefulness!

Must have with any beach umbrella

I think this product is a must-have with any beach umbrella purchase, it always feels like the slightest amount of wind can send them flying.With this product, my umbrella remained stable all day, and it isn't a hassle to use at all. It can easily fit in a beach bag, doesn't weigh that much, and only takes an extra minute or two to get it dug into the sand to hold the umbrella.

Dug a deep hole, my cabana didn't fly away.

I purchased a non-Ammsun beach cabana that had its' own screw on the bottom of the pole, but I still used this anchor auger to dig an initial hole, and I can see how this will be excellent for a secondary umbrella! I love the screw at the top that helps keep the pole securely in the anchor. This is a great product. It is a bit large, and not compact, but I was easily able to throw it in my large beach bag. It doesn't weigh very much, so it was no problem.

Anchors well, easy to screw into the sand. It's 100% plastic, so I'm not confident the handles won't break off at some point, but it's survived one use so far.

Necessary equipment

Added one of these this year to help keep the beach umbrella in place. Sturdy enough to firmly plant in the sand and kept our umbrella from flying away. Did exactly what it advertised.

Best Quality Purchase

Absolutely the best purchase. Sturdy and strong. Makes putting up the umbrella in the sand much more simple and holds umbrella very well. In my opinion everybody who uses an umbrella in the sand should have one.
