Causes RFI on audio and video accessories

Well it's getting stronger, but WALL WART is causing RFI. I first found that it was causing 6 second units of RFI on the 40m 7MHz HAM band. Second, I found in my workshop where the wall wart is. There is an FM radio on 90.1MHz FM which now has garbled reception and stops when the wall wart is turned off. RFI "RF Interference" I added 43 mixed ferrites to the coax power cable and it helped suppress the RFI on 40m but not on VHF radio. The other TV distribution amplifier it replaced didn't haveโ€ฆ

It did not improve my cable TV signal

I bought this device hoping it would improve my cable TV signal in my bedrooms. I divided 1 line by 4 and got error codes on cable boxes. I upgraded my connections and hooked up this amp, it didn't improve my signal, I was still getting error codes saying the signal was too weak. According to the product description, this device should have been able to splice cords, but it didn't. New plugs, new coaxial cable and nothing. If you're buying this to improve or boost your cable TV signal, beโ€ฆ

Works perfectly. RG6 cable not included.

I bought to replace a 2 1/2 year old 4 port direct antenna amplifier that has failed. This Antronix device has been in use 24/7 for about 7 weeks with no issues. Time will tell how long this device lasts. I bought Antennas Direct mainly because of the famous name. The package I purchased does not include the RG6 cable required to connect the power supply to the amp. I already had the cable so it wasn't a problem. At the time of writing this review, Revain has an option that includes this ampโ€ฆ

Excellent DOCSIS 3.0 and MoCA compliant amplifier.

My cable modem can never deliver full bandwidth without an amplifier. I've had a situation where I could use a single port 15dB amp with output splitters, or this amp with few or no splitters. It's DOCSIS 3.0 compliant, so it's also ready for new high-speed technologies as they come to your region or are about to come. I've done full testing and found this amp to be MoCA compliant with four outputs between the output ports, meaning the devices on each port can communicate with each otherโ€ฆ

Fixed my Xfinity pixel issue on some HD channels

I had a strange problem with my Xfinity service when using TIVO and a cable card. On some HD channels I saw pixelation and channel degradation to the point where it was impossible to watch. I thought it was my TIVO Bolt or even the cable card that Xfinity provides, but since the signal issue was only affecting certain channels, I figured it must be the incoming signal. So, as a last resort, before calling Xfinity (ugh), I decided to try this amp and install it where it enters my house. I alsoโ€ฆ

Boosts our signal enough to go from 42 channels to 85.

My antenna is in the attic and this amplifier is in the electrical box in the house. By just hooking up the antenna to a TV, I got 42 channels. I liked it. Since we are cutting the cord I wanted to send a signal to all of our outlets so I bought this amp. It's been a month and it's working great. We have 4 different TVs and we have 85 to 97 channels - depending on the TV. I haven't taken the device home from work (yet) to measure actual gain. Once this pandemic subsides and the office reopensโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Compatible with all standard and digital cable TV services, OTA antenna reception. Not compatible with systems with an existing amplifier or preamp. Exceeds all SCTE standards. Coaxial cables are not included.
