I bought this device hoping it would improve my cable TV signal in my bedrooms. I divided 1 line by 4 and got error codes on cable boxes. I upgraded my connections and hooked up this amp, it didn't improve my signal, I was still getting error codes saying the signal was too weak. According to the product description, this device should have been able to splice cords, but it didn't. New plugs, new coaxial cable and nothing. If you're buying this to improve or boost your cable TV signal, be careful! 1 star because it didn't work at all. I don't write these 1 star reviews, I eat honestly honestly.
