Very fast microSD card

This card is very fast - more than enough for my needs. On my 4-year-old computer, I was consistently getting speeds high enough to easily play and record ProRes footage at 1080p/60fps, which is pretty good. With prolonged intensive use, the card gets a little warm. I didn't have any compatibility issues - it worked with everything I've used it on. The memory card comes with a full-size SD card adapter, which is very convenient. The packaging was well thought out and easy to put on. In general,

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Not as good as it says

Compatible but expensive.

I'm not sure why this Amplim micro SD card is more expensive than well known brands like SanDisk and Samsung. For example, Samsung's 256GB micro SD card is half the price of this Amplim card. Regardless, I tested it and this 256GB amplim card is compatible and works well with my Canon GX10 camcorder. I don't know how reliable it will be - wait and see. If the price of this card comes down, it might be worth considering.

Cheap, Fast, Convenient

This is a good sized micro SD card that works very well with my DSLR. I wasn't sure if it would keep up with the speed I take my photos but it has proven to be efficient and effective... apart from being a good value for the amount of gigabytes it has value for money. It comes with an adapter (everyone should) and the read/write speeds are similar to the brand names I'm used to. It's probably not the fastest card (I'm pretty sure it's not), but I know it's well priced and fast enough for my…

Works as expected on Micro SD cards

I ordered this high speed 256GB Amplim Micro SD card for use in my Nikon mirrorless camera. I needed a card fast enough to store RAW and JPEG files simultaneously and fast enough to keep up with 4K video capture. This card belongs to Class 10/U3/V30. The card thus leads in two of the three speed classes. While the V30 video speed class isn't the best, it's definitely more than adequate for my needs. An adapter is included to allow the card to be used in devices that require full-size SD cards…

Card works as promised, mostly

SD media can be anywhere when it comes to performance. This one comes pretty close to its promises. Depending on the test, we achieved an average top speed of around 95 MB/s. The writing speed depends on what you want to achieve. However, it's close to many of the brands we've come across. However, the price isn't competitive enough as it comes from a brand that users probably aren't used to. You can ignore the part of the image that claims Lexar as the supplier, since it gets this data from…

  • Definitely bad product
