Description of 🔧 Amprobe HD110C IP67: The Ultimate Heavy Duty Multimeter for Rugged Environments

Digital multimeter measures alternating current (AC) and direct current (DC) to 2 amp, AC voltage to 1,000 volts (V), DC voltage to 1,500V, and resistance to 20 megaohms. Average-sensing meter provides accurate readings when measuring linear loads where the current or voltage has a sinusoidal waveform. Comes with one set of high-voltage test leads and two threaded alligator clips for connecting to high-voltage conductors. Molded plastic case helps protect meter from fire, chemicals, grease, falls, impacts, and abrasions, and is sealed to prevent water and dirt from entering the case. Meets International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) safety standard 61010 and is certified for Category IV installations up to 1,000V. Resistance Ranges 200 Ω, 2 kΩ, 20 kΩ, 200 kΩ, 2 MΩ, 20 MΩ. Display 3-1/2 digit LCD, 1999 counts, with annunciators. Magne-Grip holster, frees both hands for work. Meets EN 61010-1 CAT IV 1000 V (1500 V DC max) Class II, EN 60529:IP67. Safety first among the multifunction testers

We use them for cable work. When working with electrically detonated explosives, it is important to know your readings accurately. Be sure to buy!

Great alternative to high-end Fluke DMMs

This is an incredibly rugged IP67 DMM. I was looking for a 10,000 count true rms digital multimeter and trying not to pay Fluke prices. They're rare on the used car market, but if you find them, they'll cost very well. The main fuse inside the unit is unusual and unusually large (2.5 inches as far as I remember). It's probably wise to get a few spares in case they are discontinued. .Pros-------Display with good backlight, not too bright- Magnetic mount- Fast auto-ranging- Everything looks high…

Robust well built 10,000 count DMM, if a little unconventional

This DMM is interesting to say the least. Mine came in a battered, unsealed box with a dead battery, no internal pockets for the meter and accessories, with marks and scuffs on the rubber holster - clearly looks like a demo or return. HOWEVER, Revain (for some odd reason ;-) has reduced the price of these devices to $138 for a limited time (a few weeks?). So I bought what I thought was a very expensive digital multimeter. I believe this instrument is made in Taiwan (maybe by Brymen?), has solid
