🔬 Enhanced Eye Protection for Microscopes: AmScope EG-SM Microscope Eyepiece Eyeshields Review

Bought for my Amscope SF stereo microscope. Allows me to keep my eyes on the guards and comfortably maintain a good stereo image. Exactly what I needed. Actually, they should only be included in the volume and not sold separately, but that's fine. Just make sure you order the right eyepiece size for your scope.

Need new eyecups for Bushnell 10x50 binoculars. This is the correct diameter, but too high. However, they have an extra internal ridge, so I took a pair of scissors and cut off the bottom below that ridge, and now they're perfect. They fit well and keep my eyes the right distance from the eyepiece lenses and are very comfortable. In fact, I prefer them to the original Bushnell eyecups.

I almost gave a star but then realized I had put one upside down. So yes, there are pros and cons. But once I figured it out they fit perfectly and I'm happy again. My old one was about 20 years old and just rotting away so I'm fine now. another 20. Well the binoculars are good for another 20, I doubt I'll last that long. I'm chatting but totally recommend these eyecups! Ideal.

I wanted a second set of 20x eyepieces that come with my AmScope SE400 Z series microscope so I grabbed them. They are actually softer rubber and much nicer than the ones that came with my microscope, making them more comfortable to use over long periods of time. Not sure if they fit other microscope models, but on the AmScope SE400-Z they fit perfectly and are very easy to install and remove. It's a lot brighter in the areas around my eyes and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking…

Bought these to replace the rubber goggles for my Amscope SM-4TP. My old rubber eyecups were oily, slippery and fell off easily. These new EG-SMs have a slightly different shape. The old ones are flat, but these are concave with a higher peak on one side. Not sure where the top should go, needs to play with that a bit IMO. For now, it makes sense to have higher sides on the left and right or on the outside of my face. I have taken many photos with dimensions hoping to help you know if it fits…
