Professional stereo microscope with boom arm has long working distance to enables users to perform work or manipulate large items, including circuit boards and dental appliances. Narrow field of view

Very narrow field of view. It's hard to work with small electronics. Wasn't a good buy. I haven't decided yet, but I can go back.

Good price - camera and photo

A very good microscope for the price! It is a little difficult to adjust the eyepiece for observation and the light it gives off is very faint and yellow. I'll see if there's a better bulb replacement.

Works great, reasonable price

Works great, reasonable price. The small 10 watt bulb gets hot and doesn't put out much light, it would have been better to replace it with an LED, but with other outside light including sunlight it works better than I expected!

The light is too @&$&@ hot!

Good microscope. I knew the light would be important. I didn't get the light I chose. (see pic) it's almost useless because it gets so damn hot. They will burn @$$&@ out of your hands. I think they offer some kind of gooseneck or something. Something has to be better than this security risk.

Good microscope, but pay attention to details that are not in the description.

***Updated at the end*** The SE420Z was purchased as an electronic assembly and test tool and is a great microscope if you know what you are buying. Basically, it's similar to my home, but there are a few annoying differences. The specification should state more clearly that this microscope includes a 2X objective and a pair of 10X and 20X eyepieces. I assumed it was a 1X lens and bought additional 5X and 10X eyepieces so I have some overlapping eyepiece lenses and not as much magnification as…
