I was looking for a case for my Rift to handle sweaty VR sessions and this silicone case was just what I needed. It's easy to set up and just as comfortable as Rift's regular cloth mat. I recommend getting this before you soil your cloth mask pad afterwards. The cover is also easy to clean!

does not work as a replacement but goes over existing foam no problem the foam is as soft as this so it pops off on its own and if it does if you stay on it, your face will just get extremely sweaty after 20 minutes of gameplay, not recommended for people who tend to play idk beatsaber or similar as it's more of a practice game than just a game.

My only regret about this product is that I didn't get it sooner and looked into the foam face mask. It's great to be able to just wipe the mask off your face! It also keeps me from sweating a lot, sitting on my face keeps it relatively cool. Great design and works great for my VR setup. When I take the lens cap off it sometimes detaches a bit from the foam, but you can just slide it back into place.

Looks great, fits great and I don't see anything wrong with the design, however obvious downside if you use this like I do , in games that make you sweat so much that you get wet, and I mean get wet, fabric and foam that come into contact with your head through sweat that makes you get hotter and sweat worse, to such an extent that you don't want to play I realize this sounds like a "Neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeen" moment, but just in case others think this helps, it doesn't help here. sweat…
