Hi all! Today I want to share my opinion about a very cool kitchen accessory - we will talk about the IKEA VARDAGEN can. In general, I really like these little things from the IKEA store, they create a certain home comfort)) This jar has a very small volume - only 0.3 liters (height - 9 cm, diameter - 11 cm), made in China. The jar comes with a lid that closes very tightly thanks to a silicone rubber gasket. Caring for such an accessory is extremely easy: all parts are washed without problems.

Absolutely perfect for what I needed in my laundry room. It is durable and has some weight. It's not sealed, but I don't need it. I like you very much. Excellent quality and price.

Looks good but no glass to glass seal. Therefore, sugar, flour and pastries quickly deteriorated. I was hoping to use it for flour and sugar as I like the wide mouth opening. Now I'm not sure as most things need a deal to stay fresh longer. You also have to be careful with the lid, because glass on glass.

This product is of very poor quality. The lids don't fit properly and are definitely not airtight. It couldn't be used as a cookie jar or anything else you wanted to keep fresh. The product doesn't have an anchor emblem anywhere, which leads me to believe it's a fake. It also arrived dirty in a package with some black dust on it. We will be back as soon as possible.

I bought it for a candy bar for a wedding, now I keep coffee in one of these jars, it's nice and heavy and lets the coffee breathe a little. However, I wouldn't use it for really perishable goods like cookies. I accidentally jammed the lid of my Carrera marble counters killing a lot of broken glass and nothing happened to the lid. Pretty durable I would say. I would buy it again, you can't beat the price but make sure the lids aren't fully sealed.

I really wanted to give this product 5 stars. Full glass and full glass lid, so hard to find! I'm so glad no containers of BPA and other crap are leaching into my food. But. The lids don't even close. Not even an inch. No, I personally don't mind them living in the same place on the adult home counter, but the gap is pretty big. So bad that it's worth mentioning and deducting a star. I would have preferred this to anything else I've found, but there's plenty of room for improvement.

I like the size and the wide neck of the glasses. I was hoping to use them to top up kits to give to the whole family as Christmas gifts (e.g. to fill one with all the ingredients for the ice cream etc) but not only are the lids NOT airtight, but also breathable. They don't lay flat or pinch, so I'm not sure I can even get them across town without the lids falling off. I ordered two sets of two. Arrived well packaged, box undamaged. Two had very small chips on the outer edge of the rim that were barely visible. I could feel them by running my finger along the edge, but they weren't visible. I carefully unwrapped them and washed them in the dishwasher to get them ready to use.
