🔴 16-Piece Set of Anchor Hocking Classic Glass Food Storage Containers with Lids, Red Review

We've had a set of Anchor Hocking glass storage containers for a few months now. The glass isn't broken as I've read about other glass vaults. We put them in the freezer and microwave after defrosting. No problem. I've had this with plaster containers that melt into food that I reheat in the microwave. I just ordered another set to rid my kitchen of all plastic containers. The only use of plastic is to store fruit or vegetables.

If there were no stars this would be the actual rating. --- See the same comments with other recent reviews of this product. The plastic lid is too flimsy and the tops "warp" right out of the box. Some lids are also "split" and do not work. There is no need to add a picture as this has already been done by another reviewer and the same issue matches my order. Returns should be arranged in the box and on the porch for Revain to arrange for a UPS contactless return.

I bought it for my mother but I use it all the time because I always cook for her. The lids are so great because they fit really tight, but I didn't wake the house up by snapping them open. I wash the lids in the top rack of the dishwasher and put the glass containers on either the top or bottom. . Works great, nothing is deformed or broken even after many washes. Although the glass itself is very thick - I would recommend it in homes with children.

Don't get me started with Anchor Hocking Storage and Baking Pan. Once I started comparing the functionality and cost savings of using Anchor Hocking, it was a no-brainer. I've gotten rid of all the plastic containers that I've spent a small fortune replacing over the years and traded them in for something I can mix, store, bake, microwave and freeze. Arrived on time and in perfect condition. I like them better than the other brand I bought. I love that the lids snap open instead of latching, sometimes they open easily and sometimes I have to make sure the lid is closed properly to latch {another brand link I don't need{https:// smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01JGWAFEI/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s04?ie=UTF8&psc=1}. They fold well, but I put a paper towel inside so they don't rub against each other.

Delivery came faster than expected. Just received them and haven't used them (unless I packed some food for lunch). I did some research before deciding on them. Of course, Pyrex was my first choice, but the more I read about it, the more they recognized that their products contained trace amounts of lead and that it was within the "legal limit". I bought this set because I originally bought the smaller Anchor 3 canister set from Target and loved it. The quality is very different even with the same brand. The other set had blue, teal and green lids - round containers in small, medium and large sizes.
