    Not Anchor Hocking Kitchen & Dining

    This is not an Anchor Hocking product. The jar is cloudy and has seams on the sides and lid where seams shouldn't be. And the seal on the lid is very strange. It is firm and curls up in places. Not a quality product. i will return it

    Great jar but the lid doesn't fit properly

    Bought this to use as a 'remembrance jar' for my big birthday. A gallon was the perfect size and it looked so cute! The glass is heavy/dense. It was packaged very well, no damage. However, there is no seal on the lid (like in the world market) so it is not airtight. There is also a lot of play when the lid sits. Although it worked great for my purposes.

    CAPACITY 5 POUNDS OF FLOUR!

    Beautiful, made in America, just what I needed. I bake bread all the time and use a lot of flour. I wanted a 2 gallon jar but could only get this 1 gallon jar so I just have to refill it more often. It holds my 5 pounds of bread flour perfectly! The wide mouth opening makes it ideal for getting just the right amount the first time without mess. It's all glass, no seal around the rim of the lid, which is fine with me, but make sure it's what you want/need before you buy it. I've done my research

    I'm so glad I found these glasses here in Revein. I first saw them on the Bed Bath & Beyond website for $10 and wanted them, but just didn't have time to go to their store. I bake a lot, so I prefer having flour on the countertop. These tins can hold a 5 pound sack of flour and I keep them right outside my riding arena so I don't have to move the tins as they are heavy when full.     I bought several Anchor Hocking Heritage Hill 1 gallon glass jars to store kibble on the counter as I bake regularly and wanted easy access to my ingredients. I specifically wanted a large jar with a wide mouth, no lid (to keep moisture out) and a glass lid and these jars fit my needs. I've been using them for 6 years now and use them several times a week.     I love cans, all kinds of cans, something I no doubt inherited from my mother. Also, from a practical point of view, I seem to have a corn moth problem that is driving me nuts.
