These glasses looked like the picture but are actually very thick

Everything arrived in perfect condition. There are no cracks, chips or other defects. The packaging exceeded my expectations so much that I can store my glasses in it when not in use. This is a very nice box with a magnetic lid and strong foam cutouts that keep the glasses perfectly in place. Not to mention the beautiful glasses. They appear to be durable and I believe they will survive a fall from an average hand height, although I won't test that theory. Great buy at a great price!

Pros
  • Household and kitchen
Cons
  • No insurance

Love these glasses good for cocktails and drinks

although it took 2 attempts to get 4 glasses (it would be a good idea to label the outside of the box as 'fragile' or 'glass' - than the box must have been upside down when delivered) - it was worth the wait. I bought this specimen in a higher set a few years ago - and they are all still in service. So they're definitely a lot stronger than any other goggles I've had; They seem strong, heavy and durable. And I love the pattern - a bit of a classic art deco look. So when I needed a set of…

Manufacturing defects caused 2 of them to break

I have worn this style of Anchor Hocking goggles for many years. This is a classic design that always looks good. My old ones were vintage and didn't look as good anymore due to dishwasher etching. I thought I'd buy new ones because I like the design and durability. Unfortunately, they aren't as well made as they used to be. They have a clear seam and a bump at the top of the seam. Two glasses cracked right at this seam. One along the seam and the other from the seam. I checked out my vintage…

Pros
  • Old fashioned goggles
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

Not very strong things, suitable for a cocktail Drinkware

These are ruffs and glasses. The sturdy, heavy bases and wide sidewalls make me believe these goggles will last a lifetime. They are comfortable to hold and have a certain weight that young children may have trouble handling. Really pleasant purchase. Update 6/30/14 The second time I washed one of these glasses, it got a big, fat crack through the bottom. No traces of shavings, the glass has not fallen off. As if the heat from the dishwasher had splintered it. It's not whole and the glass…

Love these glasses, goes with glasses and drinkware

Although it took 2 attempts to get 4 glasses (it would be a good idea to label the outside of the box as a " fragile" or "glass" - as the crate must have been moved during transport) - it was worth the wait.
