Description of Anderson Metals Fitting Barstock Female

Tee with three openings for connecting and branching three pipes. Female NPT threads for connecting to male threaded pipes. Brass for corrosion resistance, ductility at high temperatures, and low magnetic permeability. Operating temperature range of -65 to +250 degrees F. Meets ASTM B584 standards for quality assurance and ASME/ASMI B16 technical specifications. These fittings contain lead and are not allowed by federal law to be installed for potable water use in the U.S.A. and its territories.

Works well, not a showpiece

Good quality except for a slight thread fault. threads in a hole. It doesn't leak, so I rate it highly. Has a lightly dented surface, minor dents and dents no more than one sixteenth of an inch wide and deep. But it works fine. I use it to rebuild a 6 gallon air compressor valve system.

Excellent, durable tee

I really like the Anderson brass fittings. And this one is definitely one of the best. This Rod t shirt is very durable and well made. I found the threads to be well shaped and in the "standard" size range. They felt very "smooth" when connected and all the appropriately sized fittings fitted together perfectly with no bottoms or leaks. The sidewalls are strong and provide a good surface to tighten and hold without tool pressure damaging or breaking the fitting. I don't think there is a better…

Nice Brass 1/4 NPT Tee

I agree with other reviewers who said the picture is not true. The fitting is bent down on all three T-arms to the round end of the pipe - different from what is shown in the picture. I am deducting a star from the rating due to inaccurate and misleading images. In terms of functionality, in most cases this does not affect the use of the fitting. These are 1/4 NPT brass fittings, not 2" steel fittings. You won't be twisting hard with your largest adjustable wrench to get a tight fit. I…
