Description of πŸ”§ Anderson Metals Forged Reducing Fitting

90-degree reducing street elbow for connecting a male-ended and a female-ended pipe with different diameters at an angle. Female National Pipe Taper (NPT) threads on one end and male NPT threads on the other for connecting pipes with different ends. Forged brass for corrosion resistance, ductility at high temperatures, and durability. Operating temperatures range from -53 to 121 degrees C (-65 to 250 degrees F). Meets specifications ASTM B584 and ASME/ANSI B16 for quality assurance. These fittings contain lead and are not allowed by federal law to be installed for potable water use in the U.S.A. and its territories.

Not the same as in the photo.

Thread size and product function as described. However, it's not like the picture. It looks extremely unfinished compared to the skinny, streamlined version in the photos. Creating sharp corners and unnecessary bulk where the purpose was to make it smaller overall.

Pros
  • Industry and Science
Cons
  • High Price

This is one of two parts that you need to convert.

This is one of two parts you will need to convert your Coleman stove into a low pressure prop guide for your RV. All you need is a 1/4" NPT male connector and the other end that connects to the disassembled Coleman regulator. All you need is a low pressure propane extension hose to connect the product to complete.

Pros
  • Fittings
Cons
  • Very Expensive

Works as expected. My only complaint was that the one I received didn't exactly match the picture. It was functionally similar, but not exactly the same. Most internal threads were not rounded off with a flat, but were squarer and more voluminous. A cosmetic difference would be nice, but due to the large flat "wall" around the base of the male thread, my fitting is actually more difficult to assemble, so I'm deducting a star for that. I would buy again if I needed another one.

Pros
  • Hydraulics, Pneumatics and Plumbing
Cons
  • Slightly torn
