BEWARE OF COUNTERFEIT ANDIS BLADES

I received another counterfeit Andis blade. The market is flooded with these fake Andis blades from China. Order ONLY DIRECTLY from ANDIS if you want the real deal. Metal, mark "andis" on the back - a fake. Look closely and you will see the difference.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Minor problems

Great Cut hair clipping tools

I've had great luck with Andi's blades and they work well too. I have used them on my kids and dogs and they are great. This is the same blade that the lady uses when I cut my hair, I have no complaints.

Pros
  • Great selection
Cons
  • Not as thick as other tools

OK. Beauty and Personal Care

I am a professional groomer, I order them monthly and find they don't last very long and sometimes break. I don't have an alternative, so I have to get this one

Pros
  • Well built
Cons
  • Volume

Perfect length for my thinning hair

I cut myself (real men cut their hair / when they go bald!). 0A is perfect for my thinning hair and saves me weekly trips and $ to my X barber who doesn't deliver a consistent and accurate cut. 0A, cuts close. I would say I have stubs left over which are mostly bare. The ceramic blade heats up after prolonged use, but not as hot as full metal blades like my Andis Master.

Pros
  • High maintenance and longevity test results
Cons
  • For seniors

Smooth cut is good for clippers and accessories

If you like a clipper for short (but not too short) hair, then this blade is for you. While Andis makes both semi-ceramic and all-steel blades, semi-ceramic blades run cooler, stay sharper, and are much quieter. Many people consider clippers with interchangeable metal blades to be "pets only", but I can tell you personally that they work extremely well on humans! Also, these blades have nice rounded corners and are much more scalp-friendly than the plastic combs on "regular" hair clipper…

new to the household to save the cost of a professional groomer

excellent blade, I was able to cut the dog at home. This and clippers easily pay for themselves. I like to keep my dog's coat very short to reduce the frequency of clipping and shedding. My dog is indoors 95%, only going to the bathroom and a 30 minute walk. I would not recommend this short coat to anyone whose dog is out for much longer.

Works great: Hair clipper

Have been using the Andis ceramic clipper for several years now. I often cut my hair and beard. I found that I used 000 with number 2 to trim my beard and the side of my head. The plastic guard sometimes gave uneven results or was too long to cover the mustache area. This blade eliminates the need for guards. Cut to the same length. It's easy to pull out the blade, switch to another blade, and move back and forth. I prefer a clean cut with no guard, but I can't afford 8 different blades. The…

I pull my customers hair

This particular blade pulls my customers hair. And it has been since the first time I used it. No matter what I do, it still pulls. True, that might not happen every time. So that means I have to pump oil and pray it doesn't hurt my client. Unfortunately, the return window is already closed. It also means I have to move much slower when using this blade. I work in a very busy salon and it annoys me to slow down. I either do that or switch to a different clipper when I need to use my #3.5. I am…
