I bought a set for my husband, he always uses Andis. Andis makes a good product. Everything worked fine the first time I used it. The cutter stopped working the second time I used it. The knife stopped moving and the machine didn't have enough power. I bought protection with it and the damage was not covered. Now I have a damage product. I called Amazon and they kindly returned the item once and gave me a full refund. I give three stars for the brand and customer service.

I have an old Andis model that is a few years old but needed replacing. They seem reasonable and similar to the set I had. The quality isn't the same, at least on this set. The T-blade hair clipper is not adjustable and the blade is adjusted too tight, it will cut and scratch the skin. I've tried unscrewing it and resetting it but it doesn't work, it's useless unless you want to bleed out. Clippers are also disappointing as they cut nicely when the lever is fully retracted. If you read the instructions carefully you will be amazed. Clean your blades when you're done and inject them with shaving gel. Here it is! I've had mine for over two years now and use it regularly. Of course I'm balding, but I have a very thick beard. As long as I keep it lubricated, it does a great job with my hair and beard. So good I've only had one professional haircut since buying it. And that was for the cruise that we took. I have no complaints about this product but it needs cleaning…
