My son is tall and very thin. The length is normal but the waist is wide. A drawstring is useful (we NEVER have pants without a drawstring), but if you tuck the waist in enough to fit, there are so many folds and gathers in the waistband that it looks pretty silly and doesn't feel uncomfortable. It's ok for the price and won't be back, but will try another brand if your kid is skinny.

Although they seem to have stated in their FAQ, the pictures and title make you think you're getting what's pictured and you only get three colors chosen at random. Not to mention I have colors that don't look like it at all - I have pure white and blue that don't really look like any of the colors shown. They are also longer than expected.

These shorts are too cute to pass up. My son hates jeans because they are uncomfortable so he prefers shorts. He liked these, said they were comfortable.

I bought them specifically to get burgundy shorts. I just wanted the burgundy shorts and didn't get the burgundy shorts so I don't need them at all and am sending them back.
