Good but not great.

The plate itself is not bad, fits snugly and is easy to remove. The battery does not move or wobble at all. Bracket 15mm plastic. Instead I used the metal I already had. Too bad I didn't save and bought myself a plate.

Pros
  • Accessories for tripods and monopods
Cons
  • It annoys me

Portable V-mount plate with quick release and 15mm rod clamp

I was looking for something equally portable. On a small box camera like the Panasonic BGH1, using regular large V-mount plates always looks wrong or out of shape. It was just perfect for a portable V-mount battery as well as a portable camera. I love it.

Pros
  • Camera and photo
Cons
  • Update availability

Fantastic budget V-mount battery mount

No real complaints. Everything looks super solid. When I mounted it on the plate, the battery had no play. Pretty much every screw you will ever need is included. I saw another reviewer say the 15mm rod holder was plastic. I don't know what happened to his kit, but mine is definitely metal and strong enough.

Pros
  • Camera mounts and clips
Cons
  • Infinitely sluggish
