Looks great and works well. Good gift idea. The wood is nice but not very thick. They work great as is, but I like them a lot more after adding "clear self-adhesive bumper pads" below.

I bought these for my son's stockings and was very happy with the quality and design. They fit right into his midtown-style Los Angeles apartment. I will definitely buy them as gifts for family and friends in the future.
