Good combination product but a bit bulky

Overall I am happy with this product which allows me to replace the short extension cord and charger that I usually take with me when I travel with one product . However, I found it a bit bulky and the USB-C port a little fiddly with the cables you're using. The plug seems a little deep and if your cable end is on the shorter end of the standard it won't "snap" securely. For example, the cable that came with my battery pack does not connect properly. Check your cables before relying on a…

Anker Solid Charger

I have 2 of these chargers, one on my desk and one by the couch. I love Anker because it has simple and reliable power products. They work and I don't have to worry about cheap components failing and causing a disaster. This charger, like many others, has a bit of a loose USB-C connector. At first I thought it was a USB-C design, but after using the universal adapter it became obvious. The port on the Anker charger is simply not properly sealed. I had no trouble connecting the cable, but if the

The indicator light is terrible

I like the design and function of the product but the indicator light is terrible. I bought it to use on my bedside table. The indicator light was known to me from the product photos. I figured I could put a small sticker on the light or use a dab of paint to fix the problem. I put a sticker on the turn signal, but that's not enough. The light is so bright that the front half of the charger shines through the white casing like a night light. I would have to cover the front half of the product…

Good charging, look out for the USB-C connector

I don't use it for travel but as a night charger. I wanted a nice charger for my bed and this fits. Crash - USB-C port sloppy. It does not stay connected to the network. I'm not used to checking this and I almost plugged the phone into the charger and went to bed. I woke up to a dead phone. We had a snow storm so luckily we didn't have a power outage and I charged my phone in the morning hours. I might end up buying another USB charger and using this one. A USB port has an Apple Watch charger…

Great for travel. USB-C PD is 18W

The anchor should clearly label the USB-C PD as 18W, which is enough to charge phones quickly. This must also be printed on the device. It does not charge laptops at full speed. The description says 30W, which is the sum for one USB-C port (at 18W) and 12W total for two USB-A ports. The back label needs to be corrected. There is no USB input (should just say "Input"). See photo. This is a good travel charger. A 45 degree plug helps a lot when the outlet is behind furniture. I hope that the next

Suitable for travel or small spaces

Advantages: small size. USB-C and PD for new devices that use more power when charging (tablets, laptops). Perfect for using the access hole and powering and charging in the desk drawer. Cons: The power plug is too large to fit through a standard desk/furniture/power cord cable hole. This is due to the 90° "flat connector" design. However, by carefully planing the hard plastic body of the connector, enough can be cut (leaving plenty of wire inside) for it to fit through the hole. It would be…
