My daughter used her tablet to run through the cables on a weekly basis. Once connected to the network, she tipped it onto her stomach, kinking and breaking the cables. We've had both cables for a few months now and they still look brand new. I'm very impressed with the quality of the cable, although it's an initial investment I'm sure I've already saved money by buying these cables instead of constantly replacing cheaper ones.

I don't usually write reviews but I've had a very positive experience with Anker Direct. All my cables were of exceptional quality. I had a cable that stopped working and contacted Anker support. They worked with me and sent me a prepaid shipping label to send them the compromised cable. They in turn sent me a brand new cable that works great. They certainly insist on their lifetime guarantee. I will not purchase any power supply or cable from anyone other than Anker.

They look very nice and are well made but the charging port may not be up to spec. They worked fine for the 1st week and then suddenly fail when plugged in for charging to actually work. This makes them very picky. They still work, but it's annoying when you think it's charging and later realize it's not doing anything. Bought this for my wife as she is a street fighter and is on the go all the time. Other cables have become frayed, tangled, or otherwise lost connection after a few months of use. This cable is amazing. It's been a while, but you can see the quality here - the outer jacket is thick, but not too thick so the cable can't be twisted (I've had issues with Monoprice cables being TOO thick).
