Review on Anker USB C to Lightning Cable [6 ft, 2-Pack] Powerline+ II Nylon Braided for iPhone 13 Pro Max, AirPods Pro – Enhanced Power Delivery Supported by Ryan Hampton

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Original Apple cables still seem to be the best option.

They look very nice and are well made but the charging port may not be up to spec. They worked fine for the 1st week and then suddenly fail when plugged in for charging to actually work. This makes them very picky. They still work, but it's annoying when you think it's charging and later realize it's not doing anything. I bought these because Anker is the top rated third-party charging cable for Apple. At some point I have to send them back. Apple's 3 foot cables seem the most reliable to me. Even 6 foot long Apple cables are junk and never last long. If the iPhone ever went USB-C, it wouldn't be an issue, but it never will. They're giving up on ports before ever considering USB-C. Apart from this important point, the cables seem to be of very high quality, the problem lies in the head/loading tab.

Pros
  • Durability: lasts up to 30 times longer than conventional cables. Laboratory tested to withstand 30,000 flexes.
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
