🏋️ RiptGear Ankle Brace - Optimal Support and Comfort for Women and Men Review

Wouldn't recommend this for serious injuries but good for added protection. I sprained my ankle very badly and haven't had anything like it since so I use it every time I play soccer and so far it's been great at helping strengthen my ankle.

Four months ago I injured my right ankle which caused moderate discomfort. After seeing the doctor and getting an x-ray that showed no fracture, I figured some support might help. I bought this brace and it definitely is, the only issue for me is the velcro kinda rubs against my skin no matter how many times I reattach the straps, the socks prevent irritation. I recommend this bandage, it helped relieve the pain I was having.

This brace provided good support for my ankle which broke in 3 places in 2008 and now suffers from arthritis. I'm just not sure if I overtightened it because I ended up feeling pain in the ball of my foot. I wore it most of the day and it was only when my toes and/or foot were flexed that I felt uncomfortable. After I removed the braces, the pain continued the next day. I really wanted to like this. I got it for my cracked, weak ankles as extra support for my handwork. It felt like the support was coming from most bandages, but it wraps itself in such a way that most of the support is on my ankle rather than my sides or especially my back where I needed it. I had better luck with these brown tapes. Also, it was too thick for me to comfortably fit in my work shoes and work boots, so I sent it back. I have a sprained Achilles tendon which made walking painful. Although it made walking easier for me, this brace really helped me. I ordered the product because I found that ankle braces make walking much more comfortable for me. Although this particular brace doesn't offer as much support as the lace-up option, it is comfortable for everyday use. This ankle brace is an extension of my leg. I don't wake up in the morning and I don't leave the house without her. I don't think my ankle would have healed at all without her. I still have a long way to go and may never fully recover, but most if not all of the pain will subside the moment I put it on.
