Pretty transparent. They're fine for wearing around the house or to sleep in, but we don't let my daughter wear them outside (and we're not particularly puritanical about our idea of modesty lol, so it's pretty clean). However, they are ideal for a child who sleeps hot, very light and made of soft fabric.

I bought this mainly to wear under my daughter's uniform shirt, she is 4 years old and quite skinny so I ordered size 3-4 and it fits perfectly, I've had them twice already washed and in my case not much shrunk, i like the quality, they are very soft and light. I would recommend if you are looking for light weight shirts buy this, if your daughter is a more normal size than mine I recommend buying a size up.

I ordered a size 7-8 for a girl and received a size that looked more like a 10-12 . Day 3 of 4 says 150 and 4 says 130 but they are all the same size. My Lo is 6 years old and tall so I'm usually a size up but I was concerned because you usually wear a tank top under your clothes and I didn't want it to fit her too big.
