Description of ANMBEST 10PCS Micro SD SDHC TF Card Adapter Reader Module + SPI Interface Level Conversion Chip for Arduino

Voltage: 4.5V~5.5V DC; Communication Interface: Standard SPI; Interface Voltage Level: 3.3V or 5V; Applicable card type: Micro SD Card, Micro SDHC Card. The module (Micro SD Card Adapter) is a Micro SD card reader module, through the file system and the SPI interface driver, SCM system to complete the file to read and write MicroSD card. Arduino users can directly use the Arduino IDE comes with an SD Card to complete the library card initialization and read-write. The module built-in level regulator circuit, level conversion circuit board that can interface level is 5V or 3.3V. Micro SD card to signal the direction of converts 3.3V, Micro SD card interface to control the direction of the MISO signal is also converted to 3.3V, general AVR microcontroller systems can read the signal. The communication interface is a standard SPI interface, easy to connect to any device with SPI interface; 2 M2 screws positioning holes with a diameter of 2.2mm, so the module is easy to install positioning, to achieve inter-module combination.

Not as expected, best in memory card readers

This MicroSD module didn't work with my Sandisk Ultra Plus Micro SD card at 3.3V. Must be used with ESP32 at 3.3V. Only this module worked when supplied with 5V.

Pros
  • Memory card accessories
Cons
  • Nothing here

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works as expected, nice and small.

So many other SD connectors are much larger than they should be, they are nice and small and work exactly as expected in both SPI and SD 1-bit modes (4-bit interface not tested )

Pros
  • Memory card reader
Cons
  • Approximately

Revainrating 4 out of 5

This device runs on 3V3, not 5V.

The list is incorrect, these devices will not run on 3V3 as described on 5. They work great, I tested SD Arduino standard library on ESP32. They swapped the CLK and MOSI pins compared to all other SD card readers. It's annoying because I can't use the regular 4 pin cable I use to connect it. Changing software pin definitions might work for pin numbers, but then the parts aren't entirely interchangeable. Love the size and the fact that they run on 3V3.

Pros
  • Computer accessories and peripherals
Cons
  • Very expensive

Not as expected in Computers & Accessories

This MicroSD module did not work with my Sandisk Ultra Plus Micro SD card at 3.3V. Must be used with ESP32 at 3.3V. This module only worked when 5V was applied.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • There is error

Works as expected, nice and small.

So many other SD breakouts are way bigger than they should be, they're nice and small and work exactly as expected, both in SPI mode and SD 1-bit mode (4-bit interface not tested)

Pros
  • High support and durability ratings from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other samples
