Quality dog food for dogs

I have been feeding my two Siberian Huskies Annamaet dog food for a number of years. Both seem to enjoy it. I can't tell if it has improved their energy or weight as they are huskies but they are always energetic and maintain a healthy weight while eating this food. The ingredients appear to be of good quality.

My dog loves this food

My Siberian Husky (rescued) has been eating Annamaet food for several years and loves it. She ate another brand but the size and texture were changed by the manufacturer and my dog didn't eat it. Her coat is thicker and at almost 13 she still has the energy of a much younger dog. Nutritional values are good for an adult dog and ingredient sources are listed.

Pros
  • It's amazing
Cons
  • Some little things

A grain-free product is good for your dog.

My dogs love this nutritious dog food. The company owner held a seminar at our local pet store where he talked about his products and how they are good for dogs on a balanced diet. Because this dog food is produced locally and close to where I live, it's always fresh when I open a new packet. You can choose grain free or regular. Even my vet uses this as food for their dogs.

  • New
Cons
  • Wrinkled

Good fit for our mini Aussies

We have been using Annamaet dog food for our dogs for about 6 years. They are about 7 years old. They never get tired of it and they are very healthy with a beautiful coat. We used to be able to get this at the local grocery store in Montana but couldn't find a local source where we now live in Shaw Low, Arizona. I am very happy that we can keep our dogs on this brand of food, thank you Revane.

Gets 4.5 stars out of 5

Dogfoodadvisor.com gives this formula 4.5 stars out of 5. It's great food and great value. This is a 40 pound bag for the price of a comparable 30 pound bag. Pocket. It uses chelated minerals (easier to digest) and every part of the formula is excellent. Highly recommended. Nothing negative at all. They don't advertise and can sell this food for less money. They make a formula (Salcha) that is rated 5 stars out of 5. This is their grain-free formula.

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • So far so good

Enjoy your meal. For the first time in my life

Good food. For the first time in my life, my GSD can eat chicken dog food. We attribute this to the fact that Annamaet Adult 23% dog food is made from hormone and antibiotic free chicken. We decided to give it a try after also noting that it tolerated beef-flavored heartworm medication, which is free of hormones and antibiotics. Our meat is loaded with hormones and antibiotics, which is what most of our pets get. A family run business that keeps their costs down whilst maintaining the highest…

Causes my dogs severe itching

I ordered this food after researching good quality dog food with no unhealthy ingredients. I slowly introduced him to my two mongrel dogs. Unfortunately, even when mixed with their old food, they would itch from time to time, and once they ate it all up, my Duck Tolling Retriever mix was itching so bad he was chewing on the hot spot on his back. I started weaning her off and her itchiness subsided. Now they have stopped, and one dog has completely stopped itching, and the other has almost…

My boys love it - good ingredients, no peas or pea derivatives

Good news - my boys seem to love this food. I'm still in the transition phase, up to 50/50 on old food, and have noticed that they both shove food into their bowl to eat chunks first. Good sign. The ingredient list is very good and does not include any of the ingredients that the FDA believes may cause cardiomyopathy in dogs and cats of both susceptible breeds and, to a lesser extent, non-susceptible breeds. a lot of research on the current problem (quantitative work for epidemiologists). The…
