Description of 🔧 Antec A30 CPU Cooler with Blue LED Fan - Intel LGA 775/1150/1151/1155/1156 & AMD Socket FM1/AM3/AM3+/AM2+/AM2 Compatible

The product is equipped with a 9cm LED silent fan, which kills similar products. The performance improvement brought by the large fan is needless to say, and the blue LED design makes the fan much more stand out. Even it‘s an entry-level heat pipe product, the A30 is equipped with a large heat dissipation fin set with a 43x86mm heat dissipation area, making its overall heat dissipation area about 1.5 times that of the same product. A30 uses the fin scale shape prepared by the Antec air-cooled radiator, which has a more stable shape and able to strengthen the strength and hardness of the scales. It equipped with two 6mm high-efficency heat pipes, using 'Fin' to achieve good contact with the fins, so that the heat pipe is quickly transfer into the main body of the heat sink to achieve better cooling. A30 uses an easy-install bilateral snap-on buckle. This buckle is easily installed on AMD's full range of platforms.it also achieve a non-detachable motherboard on the Intel platform. Installation, making installation easier and faster.

Installs on top of the motherboard without removing the motherboard

I have an ASUS P8 Z77-V Pro motherboard with an Intel i5-2500k processor (LGA 1155 socket). This machine has served me well for image processing in Photoshop and Lightroom for many years. However, in the last 6 months, when editing images in Lightroom, the CPU ran above 76 °C in the ASUS AI Suite. I did a lot of research and found that I'm not alone in this regard as Lightroom seems to consume a lot of computer resources. The first step was to replace the thermal paste to see if that would…

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Crumpled

Worth every penny. High performance and very cool!

A little disappointed when I got. The radiator is very thin and the quality turned out to be very poor. However, this is not the case. Compared to the original old AMD AM2+/AM3 cooler, it is day and night. Under full load, the CPU temperature is only 54 degrees, which is 10 degrees less than AMD. Very impressive. The fan is also very quiet.

Pros
  • One year probationary period
Cons
  • Infinitely sluggish

Decent Cheap CPU Cooler

I bought this for a little used PC that is mainly used for email/surfing/youtube videos/and online gaming (poker, slots etc). It's in a desk that doesn't have the best airflow so it overheats at times. It had a typical heatsink and I bought a Coolermaster heatsink for a heavier used system (video encoding) and saw this heatsink with a similar design but at a fraction of the cost. I tried. I installed it per AMD's specs (it was very hard like every other heatsink I've installed and the fins are…

Antec CPU cooler works great

Antec CPU cooler installs in about an hour. I would advise you to install it with the motherboard outside the case if possible. I had to install the bracket on the motherboard and then attach the cooler to the bracket with two hooks that connect to the cooler. You will need to apply significant pressure to depress the spring that the hooks attach to to secure the cooler. For me, this was the hardest part of the installation. I felt the results were worth the effort. My CPU was only air-cooled…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other models

Poor installation but good cooling after installation

Installation is the worst CPU cooler I've ever installed. I have a similar cooler from another company but I need a cheaper block for this build. The main issue is that there is nothing holding the back panel in place while holding the cooler and trying to tighten the screws. It would be nice if I had three arms, but I don't have them. Make sure you have a second person to install when you receive this cooler. After installing it seems to work. it only cools the 10400, so it doesn't need much…

Pros
  • Quick replacement
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for older people

Worked very well for my i5 6600.

Lost prize. This works very well for the i5 6600 that I installed it on. Using Cinebench R23, the processor never exceeded 43C at the default clock speed. I've seen many people complain that it doesn't cool their CPU and then report that they have a CPU that far outperforms the cooler. Research your system before purchasing a cooler. I wouldn't use it for anything with a CPU over 65W. Advantages. Really easy to install. Very quiet fan. Good airflow through the fins. 2-pipe cooler. The device I…

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Long time

Looks like a Mini 212 Evo

This CPU cooler is underrated in my opinion. For the price ($15), it performs VERY well. What I really like is the size/look. It's like someone shrunk the 212 Evo. So this is fine in cases where you normally can't install a tower style cooler, and I prefer the tower style due to the directional airflow (although you have to be careful when using it with a cheap mobile device with VRMs that are less have airflow over them). I have an Omen 25L, which is too narrow to fit in most tower coolers…

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Not for AMD FX-8350 but still good

I bought this to work with AMD FX-8350 processor but unfortunately this particular cooler doesn't have enough cooling capacity for it. No problem with the cooler, it would work fine on a chip running a cooler. No problems with processing quality etc.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Easy maintainability
