Inexpensive and good for CB and talkback radios

Good product for the price. Pretty good quality and well made. FB for hamstick antennas. If it wasn't so fancy it would have gotten 5 stars. A flat black rattle can fix that!

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Not for me!: CB and talkback radios

I was very disappointed with that. Yes, it's well made and solid, but unless you attach it to a vertical pole, the antenna won't rise and fall vertically. At least that's my experience, and I've tried a dozen or more installation locations and methods. Just not for me!

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Negative experience

It works as shown in the picture: Fixed CB Radios

I had no problems holding my antenna. It easily attaches to my portable tripod or any branch that fits in its jaw. The only design change I would like is the ability to adjust the tile without having to remove the antenna and coax cable that hang down and block access to the screws.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Universal Antenna Mount

Radio amateurs and someone who loves low power portable devices can use this quick release antenna mount on picnic tables, tree branches, fences, chairs, etc. It's a good universal mount for me vertical antennas to use on camping trips, visiting the local park, and places to place the antennas anywhere.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Good but not great

Optional Radio Antenna Mount

I was making a 3 week trip southwest through Yellowstone and wanted a radio in the truck so I could hear the truckers gossip and talk to my brother in his van. This CB mount attaches to anything up to an inch and a half, maybe a little more. I clipped it to my Allpro backpack mount to hold the antenna in the cockpit and it stayed up for about seven thousand miles, mostly interstate, and never budged.

Pros
  • Easy to use

Fantastic mountain! on CB and talkback radios

This mount gets the job done perfectly. I already had a 3/8 x 24 bobby pin that I put on her. It does an excellent job for something like a hamstick, buddistick, or any type of portable vertical antenna. It might even be a permanent mount, but I'd save it for portability. It has a small hole perfect for mounting a counterweight or ground radials. Although it was a similar price (with bolts) to a real Jaws model, you would have to pay for shipping which makes it so much better that I'm…

Pros
  • Superior design
Cons
  • Compatibility

Very handy temporarily/emergency/etc. RF mount

QRC3 is an excellent utility mount for portable/packable stands. I can't say for sure, but it looks like it's the same OEM mount that comes with a certain antenna manufacturer's smart product "Jaw Mount" (a company that specializes in making strong, high-quality antennas is known). Either way, the build quality here is excellent. Here are a few reasons why I think this mount is great: - 180ΒΊ swivel can be adjusted anywhere in the range, allowing attachment to structures with sloping sides…

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Reliability
