I was unhappy with the softness of the rubber. It broke during installation so it's only a matter of time before it rusts. It looks great and I don't use my radio so I don't know what the reception is like. Looks like a mini OEM version on my 2014 Tacoma!

Quality antenna. You can get a full size antenna for the same price. I like this one because it's shorter. I had a mini plastic device and couldn't get my hands on an Am radio. This antenna works great and I can pick up the radio clearly. I recommend this to anyone who wants a shorter antenna. You still need to remove this if you go through a car wash.

Basically, this shorter antenna was well built, as was the full-size 32-inch factory antenna. There is. On the other hand, Apple CarPlay and SirrusXM make AM/FM almost obsolete on the iPhone.

Toyota antennas are notorious for breaking. The good thing about it is that it leaves a thread in the base. I was confused because my antenna was too small for the socket on the truck. After speaking to Zach in AntennaMastsRus I will complete the repair. The thread on my truck was stripped. He will send a mounting bar with a slightly larger thread and I will use a tap to raise the threads on the carriage. It wasn't their problem but they helped me find a solution. Antenna received approximately 80% of Toyota factory antenna reception. Today I was in a car wash (1st or 2nd since installation) and the antenna broke off at the base. Couldn't go to the car wash to get the broken part so I'll have to see what happens with the 1 year warranty. UPDATE: Called the car wash later that day and picked up the broken antenna the next day. Called and emailed AntennaMastsRus and they called a few days later. They sent a new adapter between the truck and the antenna…
