Be careful. This antenna is UHF only. Now very disappointed.

Channels I receive, picture quality is excellent. What I don't understand is that this antenna only works on UHF and the CBS affiliate in my area broadcasts on VHF so I can't pick up ANY of the CBS stations. Although the list items say CBS, it would be nice to know that this might work now. Can't get a FOX branch either, but Antenna Direct customer service says it could be because the antenna isn't high enough. ABC, NBC and PBS are crystal clear so it looks like Fox should work too. Now they…

Sensitive, powerful and long range

A good product for me. I live in rural North Florida. I get good reception even from Orlando, Florida which is about 150 miles straight ahead. I have this antenna on a 40 foot tower and use an antenna booster on the antenna and a signal booster on the splitter next to the TV. I use R11 solid copper wire instead of R6 to reduce signal loss from the antenna which is a full 70 feet from where the wire connects to the TV. The conditions I use this antenna in are probably harsher than most people…

Goodbye cable TV! Crystal clear HD TV with antenna for FREE!

Set up in 10 minutes, set up in the attic in 5 minutes. Go to antenna.com to determine which direction it should point (you put in your zip code and it gives you the direction the transmitters are in from where you are. In my case it was 163° from mine house away, so I pointed it in that direction with the compass on my smartphone). Plug it into a cable TV line that powers all of your cable outlets around the house, and lo and behold, you have a TV in every room. I used a cheap $20 amp in the…

Super antenna on antennas

There are already many reviews, but I like this antenna so much that I want to say something. I used an old Channel Master "strong" antenna in my attic. It did the job but was huge with a lot of protruding elements. Aiming was also tricky, but like I said, it worked. When I came across this 4V antenna I couldn't resist. I was finally able to get this huge beast out of my attic and maybe even improve reception with this smaller and less "sharp" antenna. This little beauty really attracts the…

Harder to install than me, great picture, a bad design feature

I bought this antenna to replace the reception the combination flat screens in the attic were trying to give us, 31 miles from the broadcast location. . Although I was intimidated at first by the instructions and non-standard features, once I put everything together, the concept seemed surprisingly simple. After the installation, our reception became much better. A very good receiving antenna that I've thought about and heard about in reviews on YouTube. However, it caused me some worry and…

Purchase date: August 31, 2015 Purchase price: $129.98. My mom was fed up with the rising Direct TV, Comcast, and AT&T bills so she asked me to buy her this antenna because of the positive reviews she was hearing. Family members. I ordered an antenna with bracket. After I received it, it took me about 10 minutes to assemble it and about 10 minutes to drill it directly into the house chimney. After that - boom - my mom gave up her TV provider and got 60+ channels for free, clear and crisp (ABC…

Best of the best

I live about 60 miles from broadcast stations in a small town. I searched the internet for the best antenna. I found the top reviews, checked the pros and cons, and found the ClearStream 4 mount antenna to be my choice. I also bought a Winegard LNA-200 Boost XL digital HDTV preamp to boost the signal. I hooked it up 30 feet up in my garage and hooked up an external shielded coax cable to it. I used a short coax cable I had at home to connect to the Winegard preamp. I switched from a preamp to…
